Learn How to Get to Water Country USA

Water Country USA is less than an hour’s drive from Richmond, Virginia Beach and other Hampton Roads destinations.

Follow the directions below to find yourself in Coastal Virginia, worlds away from the worries of everyday life. We can’t wait to see you soon!

Driving Directions

 

 

From Virginia Beach (55 Miles) and Norfolk (40 Miles)

  • Drive up I-64 West.
  • Water Country USA: Take Exit 242B to VA-199 E. Turn right onto Water Country Parkway and follow until you reach the park entrance.

From Richmond (55 Miles)

  • Hop on I-64 East.
  • Water Country USA: Take Exit 242B to VA-199 E. Turn right onto Water Country Parkway and follow until you reach the park entrance.

From Washington, D.C. (155 Miles)

An easy drive south will transport you from the nation’s capital.

  • From I-95 South, take Exit 84A for I-295 South.
  • Take Exit 28A for I-64 East toward Norfolk/VA Beach.
  • Water Country USA: Take Exit 242B to VA-199 E. Turn right onto Water Country Parkway and follow until you reach the park entrance.

From Raleigh, NC (200 Miles)

Just north of North Carolina, our world-class theme park and water park adventures await, only a few hours distance from Raleigh.

  • Take US-64 East to I-95 North toward Richmond.
  • Exit onto I-295 North and merge onto I-64 East.
  • Water Country USA: Take Exit 242B to VA-199 E. Turn right onto Water Country Parkway and follow until you reach the park entrance.

Air Travel

Flying in for your Williamsburg vacation? There are three convenient airports in Hampton Roads and Richmond, all within 45 minutes of Water Country USA:

 RIC (Richmond International Airport)
 ORF (Norfolk International Airport)
 PHF (Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport)

Rental cars, buses, shuttles, taxis and Uber can transport you from the airport to Virginia’s largest water park.

There are many options to get you to Water Country USA quickly and easily. Williamsburg’s station is next to the post office in the Historic Area, only ten minutes away.
